Hambleton residents are being reminded that there is only one more garden waste collection left this year - for those who have subscribed to the service. Depending when your collection week falls the last collections take place either week commencing 23 or 30 November. CASH INJECTION FOR AFFORDABLE HOMES

Thirty one affordable homes will be created across Hambleton in a £552,250 package approved by district councillors today (Oct 6). FREE Renewable Heating Scheme for Hambleton residents

North Yorkshire County Council has secured funding through National Grid’s Warm Homes Fund to help people living in Hambleton to reduce their energy bills and transform their home heating. Homeowners and tenants who currently use inefficient storage heaters, room heaters or solid fuel heating, could get a new, fully funded renewable heating system installed in their home at no cost to themselves.
