Retail and hospitality businesses across Hambleton are being offered a helping hand to bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic. The District Council is running a series of free online workshops to guide them through the current situation – and plan ahead for a successful 2021. Aimed at customer facing small businesses – such as retail and hospitality – the first session with focus on the festive season.  ‘A Christmas Like No Other’ will invite business owners in Bedale, Easingwold, Stokesley, Thirsk and Northallerton to dedicated sessions for their towns – showcasing the latest consumer trends and sharing techniques to help businesses engage with customers and boost sales. The workshops will be delivered by Insight with Passion, an international business transformation agency based in Huddersfield, founded by TV business expert and international consultant Kate Hardcastle MBE. “Businesses in the district are facing significant challenges but we hope that through these workshops we can support them to have a profitable Christmas and beyond,” said Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Peter Wilkinson. “Each of our market towns faces very different challenges and trading environments so each workshop will be tailored to the needs of the businesses and the place in which they operate. We are delivering this support at a time when businesses need it most so I urge them to take advantage of this free support. “And if you cannot make the workshop for your town please join another – everyone is welcome at each session.” Insight with Passion Consultant Laura Kirk added: “We’re really pleased to be supporting business owners in Hambleton.
