Almost 300 Hambleton businesses took part in a series of free workshops to help them through the current difficult trading times.

Eighty of them joined the live on line sessions – and another 200 took up the offer of a recording to catch up at a later time.

Organised by the District Council – and hosted by Insight with Passion – the six workshops provided tips, insights into customer behaviour and great practical advice to support businesses through the next few weeks and beyond.

And the final masterclass looked at how businesses can better collaborate, create lasting partnerships and form relationships to help them survive in the future. They were given techniques to enable them to collaborate and use partnerships to their advantage, open new sales streams and boost sales for 2021 and beyond.

“We wanted to give some hope and help to our business community at this challenging time, said Council Leader, Councillor Mark Robson. “Being able to provide support and a positive uplifting message was important to us – and from the feedback we have had businesses found them interesting and inspirational.  The team at Insight with Passion has great knowledge and experience and we wanted to bring that to our local businesses.”

Huddersfield based, Insight with Passion, has worked with 1,500 small businesses over the past decade, delivering mentoring, events and workshops across the UK.
