Promising Defender Williams Arrives at Town – We can now confirm the signing of promising defender Jay Williams from Kettering Town.

The 20-year-old had been with The Poppies since November 2020 and impressed during his short spell in the National League North.

Our new arrival came through the ranks at Northampton, a club he spent seven years with having joined at the age of 13.

Williams would make his professional debut for the Cobblers in September

2018 and go on to make 17 senior appearances for his first club.

Jay will wear the number 27 shirt at Town and is available for Saturday’s trip to Cambridge United.

Connor Hall commits future to Town – Connor Hall has put pen to paper on a new deal that will see the defender stay with Harrogate Town until 2024!

Since his arrival from Brackley Town in the Summer of 2019, Hall has been a mainstay at the heart of our defence, accumulating 63 appearances for the club so far.

Connor would make an instant impression at the club, forming an impressive partnership with Will Smith at centre back and winning Players Player of the Year.

A goal in the National League Promotion Final capped a perfect first season for the 27-year-old who continues to impress in his first season in the EFL.

“I’m really delighted, I said straight away in conversations with Gaffer and Thirs that I see my future here and I want that to be long term.” Revealed Hall.

I’m willing to commit a massive part of my playing career at this club.

“I’ve been here a year now and had a great time, made lots of memories already, the staff and everyone around are really friendly, the lads are great and I feel like the club can progress in this league, maybe even to League One in the next couple of years.”
